Frequently Asked Questions

Dietary supplements include vitamins, minerals, herbs, botanicals, enzymes, amino acids, or other dietary ingredients. You take these products by mouth in pill, capsule, tablet, or liquid form to supplement your diet.

For improved absorption, it is recommended that you take these supplements on an empty stomach either 30-60 minutes before a meal, 2 hours after a meal or as directed by a healthcare provider. Drink at least 8 ounces of room temperature to hot water with these supplements. If you forget to take them before a meal, please be sure to take them AFTER the meal. The idea is not to skip a serving for best results. For faster absorption, herbal tablets may be crushed into a powder and mixed with water, and capsules can be emptied into water (room temperature to hot) and drank as a tea. Remember, Divine Herbalism offers only natural dietary supplements that simply promote balance to the body so it is best when taken on an empty stomach. If you are taking prescription medication, always take our supplements at a different time than your medication since prescription drugs may cause imbalance to the body and lessen the effectiveness of the balancing qualities of our products.*

Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) is the amount of a certain nutrient you should get each day based on your age, gender, and whether you are pregnant or breastfeeding. On a supplement label, you’re more likely to see the acronym DV, which stands for Daily Value. This represents how much of a nutrient the supplement provides in regards to a total daily diet. For example, if a calcium supplement is labeled “50% DV,” it contains 500 mg of calcium per serving, because the DV for calcium is 1,000 mg per day. Sometimes the DV contained in a supplement will be higher than the RDA for certain people. In many cases, there is no DV for a supplement, so the label will reflect that. Check with your doctor to make sure your supplement doesn’t contain too much of any nutrient.

Since everybody’s situation is a little bit different, we never know how long it will take for someone to achieve the results they are looking for. Past customer feedback really does vary based on each person’s individual circumstance making it very difficult to predict results. According to herbalists and physicians who prescribe herbal medications, they experienced best outcomes  when their patients took the herbal formulas for at least a period of 3-6 months.*

We at Divine Herbalism, LLC do not provide medical advice and/or treatment for any disease or illness. Additional information: In general, it is important for all users of medications to understand that ALL medications / drugs have harmful side effects. This is due to their chemical and synthetic makeup. Eastern medicine practitioners believe that prescription and non-prescription medications can actually take your body out of balance thus making it harder for the body to heal itself. Eastern medicine does not focus on treating a disease rather it focuses on the treatment of the body by promoting improved health through natural herbal ingredients, lifestyle changes, and stress reduction.*

The FDA only allows drug companies to make these types of “treat or cure” type of claims for approved chemical drugs. Divine Herbalism supplements are designed to be used simply as an all-natural dietary supplement to support and maintain a healthy body. Stress reduction, as well as healthier dietary and lifestyle choices, are other important factors to investigate that may offer the body the best chance to heal itself.*
